We’re inspired by the metamorphosis of
a caterpillar into a butterfly.
When the caterpillar is in the cocoon it breaks down into a goo, and specialized cells with the information of the different components of the butterfly (the “imaginal cells”) must find each other in the gooey mess for the transformation to a butterfly.
We help leaders find their own imaginal cells and transform into their most authentic selves through experiential learning inspired by nature.
Some themes include topics such as resilience, healthy tension, partnership, wayfinding, navigating change, and managing our own personal metaphoric “space”.
We do this through individual coaching, group workshops, and leadership gatherings in offices, traditional physical and virtual meeting spaces, hikes in nature, or by working alongside horses at our home base horse farm in Lake Geneva, WI.
The Equine Leadership Experience
Leadership is about energy.
The energy we project can be the loudest part of our message, influencing how others react—whether to collaborate, retreat, or resist. While human interactions are layered with past experiences, societal expectations, and biases, horses live purely in the present. As social herd animals, horses are highly sensitive to changes in energy, providing immediate feedback. This real-time response offers powerful insights into how subtle shifts in our presence can shape collaboration and leadership.
